Amidst the vivid green rice fields and tropical vegetation of Umalas, you will find a wonderful equestrian haven. The spot is perfect for a family outing, even with little kids, who will definitely enjoy a few hours in the fresh air, admiring the beautiful horses. There are plenty of activities here too, especially tailored with “family “in mind. You can go on a horse riding trek and enjoy the rich landscape, or you can choose an exciting gallop tour. The horses are professionally trained and the staff will be there for any question you might have. You will also be provided with high safety equipment during your riding sessions.
Children’s equestrian paradise
Kids will be frantic about the dressage lessons or the show jumping lessons that they can watch in the indoor arenas. Besides the dressage and show jumping, they can also take pony rides. There are also many other gaming activities that include horses and life at the stables that will keep them busy throughout the mornings.
Children simply adore horses, as they know that although these cute animals are huge, they are especially friendly, intelligent and humble. The staff here also organizes two- day long horse riding camps that are highly enjoyed by children.
Exclusive Tours, Lessons & general price information
There are many private lessons held on a daily basis here at the Umalas Stables, such as the beginner lunge lesson where you will learn to ride the horse at a slow pace (walk and canter). Such a lesson, which will introduce you to the equestrian world, usually costs around $30.
For those of you who are experienced, and want to be part of a professional dressage lesson, the prices are around $40.
Little kids will be taken on pony backs for a ride for just $7.
Adults and children alike are invited to choose between rice field tours, or beach tours, with costs starting from as low as $25. The cost depending on the length of the tour (a beach tour for example can go as long as 3.5 hours). All of the riders will have their own professional guide, so you do not have to worry about a thing.

You will find the resort fully equipped not only with beautiful and clean stables and wonderful horses, but also playgrounds for children, restaurants serving local delicatessen and even swimming pools that are available for everybody.
